Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML)

 

Lutheran Women in Mission - LWML is the leading group for LCMS women where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.

Our Savior LWML meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. unless a special activity has been planned. Please view the events calendar to find the time and place of our next meeting or activity. All women are encouraged to participate as they are able. We value each other in Christ and we accept and encourage each woman to grow in her relationship with others. Each meeting begins with time in God's Word and prayer. 

 

Our Savior LWML serves the community and world with mission service projects.  In the fall, we collect items to assemble personal care kits and make quilts for Lutheran World Relief (lwr.org). In December, we gather items to provide Christmas gifts for area school district children. We support the local food banks with food collections throughout the year. Our offerings collected in Mite Boxes support mission grants in Texas and beyond. We support a seminary student with scholarship money.
